About Rudrabhishek Puja

Rudrabhishek Puja is a highly revered Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva and performed at the sacred Lingaraj Temple, Bhubaneswar. This puja involves the ceremonial abhishek of the Shiva Lingam using holy substances such as Panchamrit, milk, and water, accompanied by powerful Rudra mantras. The ritual begins with Sankalp taken in the name of the devotees, followed by the invocation of Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles. Offerings including water, milk, curd, flowers, and Bilva leaves are made while mantras are chanted by the pandit. The puja concludes with aarti and prayers.
